Refund Policy
This policy explains how subscription cancellations and refund requests are handled for SmartTrips.app.

Subscriptions
SmartTrips.app paid plans are recurring digital subscriptions. Prices, renewal intervals, and taxes are shown during checkout before purchase.
You may cancel anytime through the billing portal or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewals; paid access normally remains available until the end of the current billing period.
Refund requests
Refund requests are reviewed case by case. We generally consider refunds for accidental duplicate purchases, billing errors, technical issues that prevent reasonable use of paid features, or requests required by applicable consumer law.
To request a refund, contact support at support@smarttrips.app with your account email, Paddle transaction or receipt details, and a short explanation of the issue.
Paddle buyer support
Payments are processed by Paddle as merchant of record. Paddle may also help buyers with subscription and refund questions through its buyer support channels, including paddle.net.
If a refund is approved, it is issued back to the original payment method through Paddle. Bank or card processing times may vary.
Non-refundable situations
Unless required by law, partial periods, unused AI quota, unused exports, abandoned trips, or dissatisfaction after substantial use may not qualify for a refund.
We do not provide travel reimbursement for costs such as bookings, transport, lodging, activities, missed reservations, or other expenses related to a trip plan.
Policy changes
We may update this refund policy as the product, pricing, billing provider, or applicable requirements change. The policy in effect at the time of purchase or renewal will guide refund review unless a newer policy is more favorable to you or applicable law requires otherwise.
